- Visit to Casa Agricola Horacio Simoes winery where a wine tasting will include their dessert wines from the Moscatel grape for which the area is noted

- Travel to Coimbra via Obidos with it’s medieval walls and narrow streets, Alcobaca, and the fishing village of Nazare with sightseeing, including the Conimbriga Roman Ruins – one of the largest in Portugal with many fantastic Roman mosaic floors still in great shape even though they date back to the 2nd – 8th centuries
- Check in at POUSADA DE CONDEIXA-A-NOVA - a former palace owned by the Almadas Family, was built in the 16th century. It has been completely restored to a magnificent 5 star hotel
- Dinner (included) at the Pousada followed by a Fado Show at A Capella (Fado is the national song style of Portugal – quite unique)
